    Recovering Well From the Start

What if you're not making progress during your training sessions? A session tires your body, and it's rest that makes you stronger. The night after your outing, your sleep, your snack, your calm - that's where your fitness is built. In this module, you'll learn simple habits to recover from your very first week, recognize the first signs of fatigue, and understand an idea that protects you all season: when in doubt, do a little less.

    What you'll learn

    • You understand that progress happens during rest, not during the session: training = stress + rest.
    • You choose between very light active recovery and complete rest based on your fatigue, without feeling guilty.
    • You establish three habits after each outing: hydrate when thirsty, snack, and get regular sleep.
    • You recognize the first signs of fatigue (soreness, decreased motivation, degraded sleep) to adjust in time.
    • You integrate the habit of moderation: when in doubt, doing a little less protects your progress.
