Adapt Your Technique to Each Format

The move that makes you fast on a Sprint isn't the one that makes you last on an Ironman. You already know how to swim, bike, and run with good form- the point isn't to fix a flaw anymore, it's to adjust your technique to the race you're prepping for. For long-distance formats, every repeated movement over hours either costs or saves energy, and that's where movement economy becomes your best ally. In this module, you'll learn to mold your technique according to the format, schedule your correction work at the right time of the season, and integrate an intermediate goal without derailing your triathlon training.

    What you'll learn

    • You'll adjust your technique and movement economy to the specifics of each format: Sprint, Olympic (M), Half (70.3), Ironman.
    • You'll periodize your technical work over a multi-peak season, placing corrections at the start of the season.
    • You'll refine your performance in all three disciplines to help you aim for a personal best.
    • You'll integrate an intermediate goal (trail run, swimrun, duathlon, half-marathon) without disturbing your triathlon training.
    • You'll read your performance data, supported by your gear log, to target the gains that truly pay off.
